CAN I PICKUP FROM YOU DIRECTLY?
Absolutely, we offer pickups for completed orders between 8:30am – 4:30pm weekdays during our business hours at our Ringwood Factory location.

Standard order turn around is 2-3 business days from payment +3-5 business days for delivery.
If you require your order urgently, please let us know and we will try to accomodate your deadline if possible.

We got contacted by Jake via email to see if we were interested in putting together a promo video of our print shop using some trick transition methods and here it is..

BORN AND THREAD HAS MOVED!
But don’t worry we have you covered, we are offering free freight for customers that normally pickup their completed orders from our previous Kensington location, more info below..
Sadly our time at our previous Kensington studio has come to an end, the Young Husband building is being developed and all tenants were given notice to vacate.
The past 4 years we have spent there with the amazing community of creatives in the building will be missed, but like the saying goes, all good things must come to an end!
That all being said we have been extremely busy behind the scenes getting everything ready for our new print studio and we are excited to expand and grow our humble little print shop into the new factory in Ringwood.
Our new location may not be as close to the city center as our previous print studio for completed order pickups, however don’t worry we are going to keep it easy for you!
To all our customers that previously picked up their orders from us because we were in a handy spot close to the city, we are offering free freight to you instead of pickup for the next 3 months to help with the transition to our new studio location
(this freight offer applies to previous Kensington location customer pickup orders placed from the 15th of July up until October the 15th)
If we are now closer to you or more convenient for pickup, you are of course more than welcome to drop by!
For all our customers that usually get their orders delivered, we will of course still be offering the same service to you and everything is proceeding as per usual and we look forward to helping with your print orders.

Born and Thread is celebrating it’s 6th year in business on the 12th of December 2018!
In celebration we printed up a batch of 50 limited edition tees!

On the 12th of December 2012, Born and Thread was founded with a sole focus to set the new standard in t-shirt printing, quality and customer service.
Since then we have been stocked to have so many great customers and we are extremely proud to be their chosen print shop. A huge thank you to everyone that has supported us over these past years 6 and we look forward to helping with your print orders again in the years to come!
We’re celebrating our 6 year anniversary on this 12th of December and we got together and collaborated with a seriously talented artist called Sweyda (Jared Mirabile) based in the United States.
We printed just 50 Tees of this limited edition design including a metallic gold ink and all the extra trimmings like inside neck prints, premium swing tags and folding and bagging, to showcase what we do here and what we can do for you!

We had the very impressive @inkboy come down and paint some live art in the booth which turned out absolutely killer! With a heap of people stopping to check out the live painting!
We couldn’t be more impressed by the event, a huge shout out to Mel and her team for making Ego Expo happen and accommodating us with a great space to showcase all our printing options for apparel brands!
Between the fashion walks of the apparel brands representing themselves, live music performances, a massive mural right out front of the venue and even 3 on 3 basketball comps, there was never a slow moment!
For all the great people that came down and met us at booth 34, thanks for coming by to have a chat and checking out all things print related!
Can’t wait for Ego Expo 2019, Born and Thread will definitely be there bigger and better!
